Oscar time!

I saw Ray and The Aviator, both very recently - a fitting prelude to the Oscars. Which reminds me of this interesting piece on 'How to pen an Oscar speech'.

That got me interested in speeches. And here's a great one - Lincoln's address at Gettysburg, often referred to as one of the greatest speeches of all time.

Rah Rah Ray!

Saw the biopic over the weekend and its definitely Oscar-worthy. Actually saw 2 movies about blind/ physically challenged people one after the other - Ray and Black... Gotta see something else fast!

'Black' shines! Hats of to SLB for making such a bold, different movie. Both Rani and AB are outstanding.

... and then there was STINGGGG!

The highlight of the weekend was watching Sting in concert. We've been fans for so many years that it was quite a hyper/ hysterical evening. And of course it helps to have a really good view - of the man's nipples - thats how close we were! But hard to believe he's in his 50s... he's amazingly fit.
